We are Steve and Becky Johnson, the proud owners of Ellis Lake Resort! We purchased the resort in July 2009 with the desire to continue to carry on the legacy of this wonderful 1939 rustic vacation destination in northern Michigan.
We are originally from the Ludington and Branch Michigan. We have 3 beautiful daughters, Morgan, McKenzie, and Caitlyn. Caitlyn is now married to Matt. They have two beautiful daughters named Milah and Madilyn.
A job transfer took us to northern Indiana for 16 years and are now back home to be closer to family. We feel very fortunate to be able to own a business and live in beautiful northern Michigan. God's beauty is truly magnificent here.
